I'm Linda, Founder of Companion Care Gardening.
Having worked in corporate health and wellbeing for many years,
I decided it was time to pursue my passions and interests -
aged care, wellbeing and gardening.

The idea of Companion Care Gardening came about after sharing an afternoon gardening with my mum who commented on how great it was to have me there to help,
to chat and to share the joy of gardening with her. Mum is determined to stay fit
and healthy and just needs a little help. However, she has concerns about the risk of falling and frustration of those branches ... just out of reach.

I am a passionate gardener with years of experience in health and wellbeing, injury management and rehabilitation, and aged care.
I have a Bachelor degree in ageing and dementia studies (UTAS), qualifications in tree care & maintenance (TAFE) an Associate Member Therapeutic Horticulture Australia, and a Dementia Australia Dementia Friend.
